Dear Friends,
The 2010 campaign season is upon us. In the past few months, I've received dozens of emails asking whether I would run again a second time for Maryland's 8th District Congressional seat. After much thought and discusssion with my family, I've decided that I will not pursue a political career in the near future. When I ran for Congress in 2008, my goal was to serve the public for a limited time and return to private life after one or two terms.
I want to say thank you to all of you who supported and voted for me in the 2008 election. I wish you the very best. I will maintain a blog on this website, as our Country is heading down the wrong path, and ordinary citizens must speak up and act boldly against radical government that no longer listens to the people.
As always, I remain committed to each and every one of you. If there is anything I can do for you now or in the future, please let me know.

Steve is passionate about public service and helping others. Most recently, he spent 5 weeks in Jerusalem providing eye surgery and ophthalmic medical care to adults and children in the Holy Land.

 Dr. Hudson is a board certified ophthalmologist at the Baltimore Washington Eye Center, where he evaluates and treats patients with a wide range of medical and surgical eye diseases and performs cataract surgery and oculoplastic procedures.
